StockCARE® would have to be the largest farm production data base in the country. We have a huge range of farm data spread over more than 250 farms throughout New Zealand over more than 10 years.
We use a SQL database which has the capacity for detailed analyses and even has the potential to do artificial intelligence. As EID technology develops we plan to incorporate electronic data recording.
We have been able to combine our experience with a hugh amount of information to develop some very innovative approaches to production.
Our website includes a Forum accessible only to StockCARE® participants. The Forum can be used as a communication resource and it contains a huge amount of farm related information.
We have a range of models that have been built in conjunction with our farmers to see if we can help answer the "what if" questions related to issues like "should I sell my lambs now?" , "What is facial eczema costing me?". "Should I put nitrogen on my lambing paddocks?"
We produce newsletters throughout the year.
