Who are the StockCare® Veterinarians?
Your StockCARE® Veterinarian is the key to helping you to turn your information into decisions and action plans to help you take your business forward.
We think StockCARE® Veterinarians are pretty special. They all have a huge amount of experience with sheep and beef farmers and have a passion to move into a formal approach to look at the big picture aspects of farm business and productivity.
They have all been through a rigorous induction programme to ensure they have the right attitude towards doing things at the top of the cliff. That usually means taking off our clinician's hat and changing to the StockCARE® hat.
We have full-on workshops twice a year where we discuss case studies, new research, new opportunities -all to do with continuous improvement. This means the StockCARE® Veterinarians are able to combine their animal health and production expertise with a broad appreciation of the financial, fertiliser and pasture management aspects of farm business. Just enough understanding to help identify factors that may be limiting performance that can be referred to the experts for more detailed advice and recommendations.
