	FLOOD MANAGEMENT Floods are devastating while they are happening but dealing with the aftermath can be a huge challenge. Attached are two extensive reports following the big 2004 floods in the lower North Island. The reports detail farmer surveys about recovering from silt damaged pastures and regrassing slips on hill country.
